Jeppe Dyrendom Graaugard

From experiencing a divide between reality and the words he used to describe it, Jeppe developed a curiosity about how language and stories can be used to make the world whole again. Following such an inkling, he showed up at the second Uncivilisation festival and found himself engaged in an array of conversations about narratives and change. Since, he has written his PhD on the Dark Mountain Project and explored what re-narrating our relationship with the world means together with other mountaineers.

What compels his writing is a deep interest in the many stories about life in the 21st century that fall outside the dominant cultural narratives. Whether as a researcher, writer, or maker he explores stories that have the quality and power to change the frames of reference. He ties the threads together on his website (www.refiguring.netwhere you can find out more about his work.
