Vinay Gupta has been around the Dark Mountain story since before it had a name. A Scottish-Indian from America, he’s spent many years doing systems thinking and policy around historic risk management as well as maintaining an Free Hardware project on housing called the Hexayurt Project. You may have seen one at the second Dark Mountain festival.
He brings some of the perspective of the Nepalese branch of Hinduism with him, including its acceptance of death as the price of life, and the understanding that clarity comes from acceptance. Vinay was featured in the first two Dark Mountain books and at the first two festivals. This is his website.
