  1. Totally! It’s like the avoidance of the unconscious side of ourselves or the life of absolute ‘reality’ when taking into account that consciousness takes approx one eighth of the whole. We have to face the unknown. when we face it, uncover it, from its hidden unconscious state, its no longer ‘unknown’. Then it will become conscious and therefore not terrifying at all, but seen for what it is – a part of the glorious ‘whole’. Death is a good example.
When do we ever talk about it? I mean its inevitable and for most, extremely scary. But it dosent have to be. The fear of death is, as far as I can see, the real root of all our fears (be they unconscious). It is the driving force behind all materialism. It is the root of all greed and insecurity. How about some conversations about the glorious inevitability of death and how ifted we are to be alive and how important it is to experience every moment of it and treasure every part of it whilst it lasts. I’ve got some very uplifting thoughts on death, ones which dont leave us with loss or despair, but hope and trust.
    Hooray for Black mountain!
