Mike Edwards has spent much of his life trying to prevent the destruction of 'wild' spaces -- both real and imagined. He lived in Australia for 11 years where he did a PhD on the links between climate change and security. Since completing his Ph.D., Mike has dedicated himself to music and teaching. Over the past 17 years, he has roamed the world playing didgeridoo and teaching people why it is crucial to love nature. Mike is the co-founder of Sound Matters, an organisation that uses sound and music to raise awareness of climate change and other environmental issues.
