As we traverse the hungry gap this spring, we plan to gather online once again for the Dark Mountain Book Club, to discuss the themes in our most recent issue: Dark Kitchen.
The Dark Mountain Book Club is an opportunity to come together with other readers from around the globe and share ideas and responses to the latest book. The online group will be small and most of the discussion will occur in breakout rooms.
Subscribers should have received their copy in enough time to read selected pieces. If you’re not a subscriber, and you’d like to order a copy of the book, do order your issue before the end of April (depending on your location it might take some time to arrive). The required reading for the group is however, just the pieces we’ve shared from the book on our website so far. Ideally you will also own the book and be able to discuss some of the other work included in this issue but if you do not have a copy and have only read these extracts, you are also welcome to join the conversation.
For this kitchen table meeting, we are piloting a donation based ticket price with a recommended donation of between £5 and £15. Please sign up for your place at the table on our Eventbrite. The final day to secure your place is Monday 22nd May.
