Write for Dark Mountain

We regularly publish new work in our Online Edition on Substack. If you are interested in writing for us, please read this section carefully.

We encourage submissions from new and established writers and artists, and we particularly encourage unpublished or ‘unknown’ contributors.

Our weekly online edition reaches a wide readership across the world. If you have an idea for a piece that might find a home here, we would be pleased to hear from you. You can contact our online editor, Charlotte Du Cann, at [email protected]  with a short pitch. We have an upper limit of 2,500 words for online pieces. We only publish poetry if it is part of a story, or is relevant to one of our sections.
